Living and Working with Clay
Welcome to my home, studio and garden in Pennsylvania, where I make pots in wheel-thrown, translucent porcelain.

For a complete online portfolio and contact information, please visit my website at www.olenhsu.com.

I welcome studio visits by appointment and am located 25 minutes from downtown Philadelphia.

ABOUT THE WORK
All works are glazed and reduction-fired to cone 10 or cone 11—high heat that gives the porcelain its translucency and strength. And, at the same time, this high-firing softens the edges of forms: taut lines become slightly languid, curves perhaps more weighted in their mood.

All of these pieces may be used—they are safe for food and drink—or simply be enjoyed as objects in their own right.
